Sonero de Oriente – Arturo Jorge & su cuarteto Tradicion

Arturo Jorge & Cuarteto Tradición present the album Sonero de Oriente, licensed by TUMI Music. With the participation of the trumpeter Thommy Lowry and the trio of the violinist William Roblejo.

The Cuban composer, arranger, vocalist and tres player Arturo Jorge Cabrales, from the East of Cuba, captures his experiences in 10 unpublished songs composed by himself, with a Traditional Cuban Son format, inspired by the sounds of exponents such as Nico Saquito , Matamoros, Polo Montañez or Compay Segundo, among others.

The piece “A una rosa” is the one that opens the album, with the participation of trumpeter Thommy Lowry. The tasty and guarachosa “Como me gusta” highlights Arturo Jorge himself in the tres solo, while “Como yo llore” presents the great performance of William Roblejo on the violin, in a conversation with the tres, by the hand of Arturo Jorge. The rhythmic “Corazon Bandido” is a sound that infects us with the power of the trumpet and a rhythmic rhythm. “Este Año” brings a positive and joyful message to undertake changes.

Tracks:

A una rosa; Como me gusta; Como yo llore; Corazón bandido; Dejalos que hablen; Este año; Mi corazón sufre; Olvidaste mujer; Si tu no me quieres; Vamos al Valle de Elqui.
